Hi all, we are really happy to launch a new section in English!

When you think about it, it was really missing... It's good to write in French but remember for most of us, we came to Ireland to meet Irish people, foreigners and mix our cultures

So I won't be scared of making mistakes and for sure I'll be back here as often as I can! And hopefully, the forum will welcome new foreigners members for new discussions in Shakespeare's language!

back on the forum for a small message...
I still have the max number of messages on this forum!!! not for a long time I guess. I think I'm loosing my english every day since I went back to France. And I miss Ireland, Dublin, Dublin pubs, friends from there, and Dublin's life...fecking studies!! (it was a nostalgic minute...).

So to keep going on this topic, this is all my irish culture :

I realise I've got some serious work to do on my french ... my spoken is fine ... my written is TERRIBLE ... and not in a good way (if thats even possible)

yeah I have the same problem. I can speak quiet good but to write in English it's difficult. I think it's because I don't ask how they spell the word when I learn a new word. well, otherwise everythings is cool

unfortunately I'd guess its always the way ... I work in IT (ug I hate that word) and it takes me way WAY too long to write emails / sms's in french .. so I usually just tell friends ... just respond in french to me ... and I'll respond in english ... I've no problem understanding written french its just when you've got to write it ... it becomes ARGH!
